Tianguis Turistíco 2025 in Baja California... What an event it was!

Tianguis Turístico 2025 in Baja California: A Binational First

Ventana a México opened in San Diego—and it mattered

For the first time in 49 years, Tianguis Turístico 2025 became binational, inaugurated in California with Ventana a México at Liberty Station, San Diego, where 28 Mexican states shared artisans, gastronomy, and culture—an intentional spotlight on the ties between California and Mexico.

The message from Mexicos foreign affairs chief

Dr. Juan Ramón de la Fuente framed the stakes with clarity: most international air tourism concentrates in a handful of airports, arrivals largely originate in North America, and the U.S. contributes over 90% of Mexicos international tourists when air, road, and border travel are combined.
