On April 10, 2026, a federal decree elevated Loreto to the status of a port of altura, opening its waters to international cruise ships and large cargo vessels. The language of development is familiar—connectivity, growth, opportunity—but here, in a bay defined by restraint, the implications feel anything but routine.
Over time, I have evolved through research, dining, and travel. That journey has helped me shape a cuisine with its own identity, one that honors Mexican gastronomy while embracing techniques from around the world and recognizing that cooking is in constant evolution.
Lewis Hamilton is in love with Baja and can hardly wait till he gets back to Mexico. In fact, he’s hoping to do a repeat visit next year in January to once again, celebrate his birthday.
