Mayté Rodríguez Cedillo, CEO and Publisher of Traveler Publications, received the coveted “Mujer Internacional del 2008” award by the Regional Hispanic Chamber of Commerce this past November 15th in Long Beach, CA.

Sponsored by the Regional Hispanic Institute, the award was given to seven remarkable women to receive the prestigious awards recognizing their extraordinary efforts in the Hispanic Business Community.
“I’m extremely honored for having been invited here tonight to receive this award – Mujer Internacional del 2008. I thank all those involved in the voting process… and all of you present for supporting my publications and my mission – to impart the best of Mexico and Baja California to the world as both a travel destination and a total experience that celebrates Hispanic culture, heritage, cuisine and life,” said Mayté in her accepting speech.
“In particular, I would like to thank the Regional Hispanic Institute for creating and promoting opportunities for Hispanic businesses and embracing the Southern California business community. Your presence and support has been a beacon of light to entrepreneurs like me.”
The Mission of the Regional Hispanic Institute is to give Entrepreneurs alternatives for life preparation and life-long learning by developing and implementing initiatives and educational campaigns to awaken and nurture their Entrepreneurial spirit.
