Los Cabos Fashion Week transformed the luxury destination of Cabo San Lucas into a vibrant celebration of Latin American fashion and creativity from July 23-27, 2025. Hosted at the iconic ME Cabo, the event elevated Latin American designers onto the international stage while showcasing the region’s rich cultural heritage, innovation, and artisanal craftsmanship.

Founded by Indira López, Isidro Sanchez, and Albania Rosario—the visionary Founder and President of Fashion Designers of Latin America (FDLA)—Los Cabos Fashion Week has quickly established itself among elite fashion destinations. The event drew international media, celebrities, and influential industry figures, positioning Los Cabos alongside New York, Paris, London, and Milan as a global style leader. The week-long affair transcended traditional runway shows, offering an immersive experience that blended fashion, luxury, and the distinctive lifestyle of Mexico’s Baja California Sur region.

The festival opened with a designer welcome reception on July 23, bringing together industry leaders, designers, and international guests in an atmosphere of creative energy and anticipation. This kickoff celebration set the tone for a week dedicated to discovering the next generation of Latin American fashion talent while honoring the artistry that defines the region’s design aesthetic.

Fashion talks on July 24 and 25, moderated by Lucia Ugarte from Chicas Guapas TV, provided attendees with engaging panels and conversations featuring top voices in the fashion industry. These sessions explored topics ranging from sustainable fashion practices to the growing global influence of Latin American design, offering valuable insights for aspiring designers and established professionals alike.

The heart of Los Cabos Fashion Week beat strongest during the collective runway shows on July 24 and 25, where an exceptional roster of designers presented their latest collections. Venezuelan designer Carlos Sierra captivated audiences with vibrant designs celebrating his homeland’s culture through bold colors and contemporary silhouettes that bridged tradition and modernity. Dominican Republic’s Altagracia Abreu brought the spirit of the Caribbean to life with intricate handwork and flowing fabrics that radiated tropical elegance.

Local jewelry masters Indira & Isidro showcased their stunning line drawing inspiration from Los Cabos’ natural beauty, demonstrating that the region produces not only hosts world-class fashion but creates it. Venezuela’s Magnolia by Daniela Peña impressed with a sophisticated approach to sustainable fashion, combining eco-friendly materials with sleek designs that reflect contemporary Latin American aesthetics.

Dominican designer Giannina Azar transported guests to another era with her “Renascimiento” collection, featuring opulent Renaissance-inspired gowns adorned with lavish embroidery and Baroque details. Argentina’s Anna Rossatti delivered effortless elegance through pieces that married Argentine tailoring with soft, feminine lines and luxurious textiles. The grand finale belonged to México’s Benito Santos, whose breathtaking collection paid homage to Mexican glamour and closed the runway shows with spectacular flair.

Beyond the runway, the festival offered a pop-up event on July 26 where attendees could shop limited-edition pieces and meet designers face-to-face, creating meaningful connections between creators and fashion enthusiasts. Glamorous after-parties throughout the week and a closing cocktail celebration embodied the spirit of Los Cabos, with stunning coastal settings providing the perfect backdrop for networking and celebration.

ME Cabo’s commitment to style and hospitality proved the ideal match for the event’s creative energy. The luxury beachfront property served as both venue and official hotel sponsor, offering VIP guests and designers an unforgettable experience that seamlessly integrated fashion with the resort lifestyle for which Los Cabos has become renowned.

The festival extended heartfelt thanks to key sponsors including Grupo Rosanegra, La Reyna Raicilla, and Good Look México, whose support proved invaluable in making the event a resounding success. Their partnership demonstrated the growing recognition of Los Cabos Fashion Week as a premier platform for Latin American design.

“Los Cabos Fashion Week is about more than just fashion—it’s about opening doors and building bridges for Latin American designers,” said Albania Rosario. “We are proud to champion these extraordinary talents and connect them with a global audience.” This mission resonated throughout the week, as designers gained international exposure while maintaining authentic connections to their cultural roots and heritage.

As Los Cabos Fashion Week concluded its second edition, it reinforced the growing influence of Latin American fashion on the global stage and established itself as a beacon for discovering emerging talent. With FDLA’s continued commitment to innovation, sustainability, and multicultural celebration, the event promises to expand its reach and impact in years to come. Los Cabos has firmly established itself as more than a luxury vacation destination—it is now a vital hub where Latin American creativity meets international recognition, where fashion intersects with paradise, and where the next generation of design leaders finds its voice.
