Jamie Lee Curtis received the Entertainment Industry’s Courage to Care Award, presented by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, honoring her long commitment to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA)—and the children it serves.

“This is for Katie Westbrook”

Asked about her hot pink wig, Curtis explained: “The pink hair is in honor of every child… who loses their hair to cancer.” She wore it for Katie Westbrook, a 14-year-old who died of bone cancer: “This is how she chose to deal with her cancer… I need your support.”
