Fernando Favela Vara, partner and president of Château Camou, expressed his satisfaction: “Winning these medals in such a prestigious international competition shows that we can make great Mexican wines, which was the life-long dream of my father, one of the founders of our winery. This is a great accomplishment, and it’s the result of the dedicated and enthusiastic work of the entire Château Camou team.”

El Gran Vino Tinto is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot varietals, aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels. The Cabernet Sauvignon, made 100% from the varietal, was aged for 24 months in French oak barrels. Both wines come from our vineyard in the Cañada del Trigo.
